Course:

SWIM 1.2   In the warm waters of the Atlantic Ocean (beach start) with a fresh water shower into transition #1. Swim caps are provided in your race packet and are REQUIRED during the swim.
BIKE 56   Flat (Except for the bridge), fast course thru the scenic Amelia Island on N.E. Florida's beautiful Atlantic coast.
RUN 13.1   Out & back with water stations at mile marks. The run course is through tree covered Fort Clinch with plenty of shade.

Race day:

First Wave : 7:15 a.m.

 

Packets:

There will be NO DAY OF RACE registration. Athlete check-in and packet pick-up will take place at Main Beach on Friday from 3:00 PM till 9:00 PM. You can pick up you Race Packet at the Big White "Registration" Tent next to the Expo.

EXPO:

WILL BE HELD AT MAIN BEACH PARK on Friday & Saturday. For directions click here .

Dig Me Sports will see you there, along with other vendors.

 

Host Hotel:

There will not be a specific host hotel designated for this event. Please check the hotel link to the right for accomodations. All activities will take place at Main Beach, except the Pasta Dinner, which will be held at the Atlantic Recreation Center on Friday evening.

Pre-Race Meeting :

Athletes should attend the "Athlete information meeting" being held Friday at the pasta dinner.

Bike Check-In :

All bikes must be checked into the transition area no NO LATER THAN 9 PM on Friday night. Security will be provided. Transition will re-open for equipment placement at 5 AM on Saturday morning.

Pasta Feast:

Pasta dinner will be provided to all athletes beginning at 6:30 PM on Friday at the Atlantic Recreation Center (2500 Atlantic Avenue - Fernandina Beach, FL 32034). Tickets for family members are available at Registration for $10 each (children under the age of 10 years eat free).

Wetsuits:

Wetsuits will most likely be legal. Expected Water Temperature is 76 degrees. Read the Policy on Wetsuits from USA Triathlon here.

Custom Engraved Medals Awarded to all Athletes who complete the course.
