SWIM ¼ In the warm waters of the Atlantic Ocean (beach start) with a fresh water shower into transition #1. Swim caps are provided in your race packet and are REQUIRED during the swim.
BIKE 10 Flat, fast, Out & Back course along the coastline of scenic Amelia Island on N.E. Florida's beautiful Atlantic coast.
RUN 3 Out & back with water stations at mile marks. The run course is out & back thru the North Fletcher island community.
This race is limited to 400 Athletes, so be sure to register early to reseve your slot.

Host Hotel:Imagine a 100% smoke free sophisticated boutique hotel, whose focus is delivering guest peace, serenity and renewal. Hotel Indigo in Jacksonville is a fantastic property and has set aside a block of rooms at a special rate. They are located approx. 40 miles from the race site, however they are adjacent to the Jacksonville Running Company, which will be the only place you can pick up your packet on Friday. Please check the hotel link to the right for more accommodations.
Pre Race Packet Pickup:The Jacksonville Running Company 
, located near Hwy 115 & Gate Pkwy in Jacksonville will be holding Pre-Race Packet Pick-up on Friday (August 7th) from Noon-7pm. They are located at 9823 Tapestry Park Circle, Suite 4, Jacksonville, Fl 32246 which will be the only place you can pick up your packet on Friday. Day of Race Registration and Packet Pickup will take place at Main Beach on Saturday beginning at 6:00a.m.
Current Water Temperature at Fernandina Beach is 80 degrees. This event will NOT be wetsuit legal. Read the Policy on Wetsuits from USA Triathlon here.
