Ocala Marathon - "Getting Out of Town!" Over 10 Years

Join us for the Annual running of the Ocala Marathon, Half Marathon and 5k run through the renowned horse country of Marion County! This event will be held Saturday, January 21st and Sunday, January 22nd, beginning at Boyd Marketplace on SW 19th Avenue in front of Crispers Restaurant next to Super WalMart in the Steinmart / Michael’s parking lot. The Ocala Marathon has secured its place as one of the country’s most scenic marathons. Drawing from over 40+ states and seven countries last year says something good is happening in Ocala. The marathon is a combination of southern hospitality and a stunning course that you cannot find anywhere else in Florida. Athletes will come from around the world to test themselves and each other on this Boston Qualifier , challenging 26.2 mile course.

The race weekend will kick-off on Saturday with the 5 Points of Life Kids Marathon and Ocala 5k Run, followed by the Health & Fitness Expo held at the Host Hotel, the Ocala Conference Center [Directions]. Sunday brings in the Full Marathon and Half Marathon races with finisher medals, music and awards at 1 pm. There is a distance for every level runner, no hard rules, attitudes, or committees. Great technical shirts and finishers receive a custom medal. No Florida marathon is quite like Ocala. Every year runners tell how unique the Ocala route is. Come and join us and run through the beauty of Marion County. Spectators are welcomed with bleacher seating at the finish line.
